With deep roots in the Madison area, Sarina takes pride in growing up in Sun Prairie and graduating from Sun Prairie High School. Her professional journey began in the credit union industry as a teller, where she quickly discovered a passion for financial empowerment and community service. Through building trust, deepening her knowledge, and forming meaningful relationships, she advanced into a banker role. In this position, she helped expand her organization’s reach by engaging with a diverse network of individuals and businesses across Madison—offering financial education and tailored solutions.
Eager to continue growing, Sarina transitioned into a Consumer Lending Specialist role at a competing Madison-based credit union. There, she gained extensive experience throughout the lending process—from application review and underwriting to communicating decisions and finalizing loans—while holding lending authority up to $150,000. She also played an active role in Employee Resource Groups, leading volunteer efforts, internal projects, and team-building events.
Sarina is certified in Crucial Conversations, a course that has strengthened her ability to navigate high-stakes dialogue with confidence and empathy. Most recently, she has entered the world of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and completed training through the Community Associations Institute (CAI), continuing to expand her professional toolkit. We are excited to have Sarina on our growing HOA team at DSI.
